Rose Flower Extract
Natural fragrance with added properties
The Provence rose (rosa centifolia) that we use was cultivated and developed in the late 16 century. It has its origins in the Netherlands. It is similar in appearance to the magnificent wild rose rosa gallica, which has luxuriant petals and many thorns. The rose flowers exude an intense rose fragrance and can be white, pink or dark red.
The sweet fragrance of Provence rose has long been a popular component of perfumes and cosmetic products. But few realise that rose flower extract (rosa centifolia) can do much more than simply smell nice. It actually has a large portfolio of effects and has countless positive beneficial properties. Among other things, rose flower extract locks in moisture, has regenerative effects, helps combat skin irritation, smooths small lines and keeps skin soft and silky. So it’s a natural fragrance with added benefits!

The most important components of rose flower are the tannins and essential oils. This form a protective film over the skin and protect it against inflammation and harmful environmental influences. Due to its antibacterial effects, rose flower extract is ideal for use on irritated, chapped or inflamed skin. Moisturising care with anti-wrinkle function
Rose flower extract is more than “just” a natural fragrance. The essential oils are great moisturisers and keep the skin soft and silky. They also smooth out fine lines, giving you an even complexion and improving the skin’s bounce. This makes your skin appear smoother, fresher and younger. The oils also have a cleansing and revitalising effect.
