We develop plant-based, all-natural and vegan formulations and carefully select our raw materials according to quality, function and skin compatibility. We focus on what a formulation really needs – and consciously avoid ingredients that do not fit our understanding of modern natural cosmetics. Our principle: as little as possible, as much as necessary. When it comes to fragrance, LESS IS MORE applies as well: we largely avoid perfume, use essential oils only selectively and as sparingly as possible, or leave them out altogether. The result is light, subtle botanical scents that do not overshadow the actual function of skincare.
That’s why our STUDIO BOTANIC products are naturally free from:
- Silicones, mineral oils, paraffins and petrolatum
- PEGs (polyethylene glycols), phthalates (plasticisers), as well as DEA, MEA and TEA (ethanolamines)
- Synthetic colourants and fragrances
- GMOs (genetically modified organisms and ingredients derived from them)
- Aluminium salts
- Animal-derived ingredients – our formulations are VEGAN and our cosmetics are CRUELTY FREE
- Retinoids such as retinol or retinal – instead, we focus on natural alternatives
- Nut oils, gluten and ingredients derived from fungi
- Unnecessary ingredients without a meaningful function in the formulation
